Loved everything about our stay. That 50's retro look was spot on. He pool in the evening was relaxing. This is the place if you just want to slow down and take a step back to a time when life wasn't so hectic! THANKS °°

Loved the ambiance, the room was tidy and clean, love the retro touches and theme. The pool was amazing. Just what we were hoping to experience. Old Florida vacation feel. Plus it was just a few short hours from our home! Very convenient to all the local shops, restaurants, and beaches. We definitely will recommend not only to couples but this place would be great for large groups. Like Girls trips!

We absolutely loved our stay at The Pink Flamingo Motel in Port St. Joe!

A few months ago, I stumbled across this adorable, newly renovated motel on social media. I LOVE flamingos, so naturally I was immediately drawn to it! ? We had never been to the Port St. Joe area and were looking for somewhere fun for a quick anniversary getaway. The price was very reasonable, so we decided to book it.

I originally booked the Marina Anne Monroe room. A couple of weeks before our trip, we decided to come down a day earlier, but unfortunately our original room wasn't available that night. We ended up booking the Georgia Peachy room for our first night, and I'm so glad we did!

I loved the keyless entry, and having a code to enter our room made everything so easy. When we arrived that first night, we were surprised to find a cake and flowers waiting for us to celebrate our anniversary. What a sweet and unexpected touch! ❤️

The motel itself is absolutely adorable, and the flamingo theme is carried throughout the property with so many fun little details—even down to the toilet paper! ?? It really feels like someone put a lot of thought into creating a fun and memorable experience for guests.

Olivia, the hotel manager, was also wonderful. She was super sweet, helpful and accommodating. You can tell she works very hard to make sure guests have a nice experience, and we really appreciated that.

The pool area was another favorite. We wanted to take a swim after spending the day at the beach, but unfortunately the outdoor shower wasn't working during our stay. Since we were sandy, we didn't want to get into the pool without rinsing off first. Hopefully that was just a temporary issue because the pool area itself was so relaxing! They had fun 80s music playing and even had games available to play in and around the pool. It was a great little place to unwind.

I do have one other minor complaint. We purchased a few souvenirs from the gift shop—a sweatshirt, a Christmas ornament and two postcards. I didn't ask about the prices beforehand, so that's partly on me, but we were surprised when the total came to over $100. It was definitely more than I expected, but I really wanted the items as souvenirs from our trip. Unfortunately, when I got home and washed the sweatshirt (inside out, as recommended), most of the lettering on the front washed away. I was pretty disappointed considering how much I had paid for it.

Overall, though, we really enjoyed our stay at The Pink Flamingo Motel. It was cute, fun, clean and had so much personality. The thoughtful anniversary surprises and Olivia's hospitality made our stay especially memorable.

We would definitely consider staying here again the next time we're in the Port St. Joe area. If you love flamingos, colorful retro vibes and a unique little getaway, this place is definitely worth checking out! ??

My husband and I stayed at this adorable motel for a week during our vacation to Mexico Beach and the Port St Joe area. Our room was so clean and decorated so adorably. We used the pool every day which was a lovely was to cool down after a hot day. The music played in the pool area was always 80s pop music which I really liked. We would definitely stay here again if we are ever back in the area! Thank you!

Loved it! Room was small but the retro decorations down to the refrigerator and microwave were adorable. Comfortable bed and great staff.

This is the cleanest, little motel we have ever stayed at. The retro-vibe takes you back to the 60's. The newly remodeled motel is very well done. The bathroom is small, but efficient. You feel like you're in the middle of nowhere when you arrive but it is only 5 minutes past Mexico Beach and 7 minutes to Port St Joe. The office staff were very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend and will stay again if we are in the area.

This motel is beautifully renovated in mid century modern decor. The motel offers great ammenities. The bed linens are good quality and comfortable. The pool is perfect for lounging and relaxing. We enjoyed our two-day visit and we highly recommend this motel when staying in the area.

The room was cute as a button! Pristine clean. The bathroom was small but we made do just fine. No cable just wi-fi, so we couldn't get regular stations, but we weren't there to watch TV! Everybody was so helpful and nice. We really enjoyed it and hope to be back.

The room was clean and the bed comfy. Very nicely furnished with extra little fun touches. Downside, the bathroom was TINY. Zero counter space. Also, no place to hang up a shirt or dress. But, it truly was adorable, comfortable, and clean!!

Such a Cute & Cozy room! I loved all the details & retro feel to the Pink Flamingo Motel! Very nice people that run it, they answered our questions & was very professional. I’d highly recommend, it was perfect for our one night stay for our job trip in Port Saint Joe, but I would also recommend it for much longer stays as well!

We had a fantastic stay at the Flamingo! We're local and wanted to check it out, so we had a staycation here in PSJ! The room was adorable, spotless, ready and waiting for us. Check-in was easy using the pin number provided to access the room. We loved the pool area. Floats were provided, and light music playing over the speakers. There's an ice machine and vending machines on site. I loved the sign on property that showed the beach flags, sunrise and sunset times, etc. Very helpful for anyone planning their day in beautiful Gulf. We would absolutely stay again and recommend the Flamingo to anyone thinking of booking.

We truly enjoyed our stay! Our room and the property were immaculate, Cathy was so helpful and welcoming. The decor and ‘Welcome Swag’ were adorable! We will be back!
